THEY ARE STILL MARRIED AND ARE BOTH NOW IN THEIR 80'S
TAKES PLACE IN  LEXINGTON, KY IN A CATHOLIC NURSING SCHOOL THAT MY MOTHER ATTENDED EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS NOT A CATHOLIC. A STORY OF FAITH, DEDICATION, JOYS, FEARS AND TEARS
THERE IS ALSO MUCH INSIGHT INTO HOW IT WAS IN THE 50'S IN NURSING AND THE HOSPITALS - THE NEW TECHNOLOGY THAT BECAME AVAILABLE, THE NEW MEDICATIONS AND  PROCEDURES.  THE BLACK BAND WAS THE BAND THAT WENT AROUND THE NURSING CAP ONCE YOU GRADUATED.
