BRIDAL SHOWER AND WINTER WEDDING THEME FOR RECEPTION

My niece recently got married and her wedding was December 30th, the day before New Years Eve so my sister and I decorated her wedding reception for her with a winter theme.  Her shower was a lot earlier in the year before she went back to college so it is not decorated in a winter theme.
We made a cake using mini small cake pans
decorated it like a naked cake and added
flowers

cookies the girls made and decorated

Homemade cupcakes

sign for the wedding
Used an old frame, decorated it with flowers
wrote verse on poster board
spray painted some artificial snow around the edges

Because it is the day before New Year's Eve
we used glittered horns on the table
that had a sign on them that said
"make some noise for the Bride and Groom

Used real roses we ordered from florist and then used branches
that we gathered after a big storm here and saved them for the
wedding!  We used hot glue on them to look like ice and
added some snow and crystals to them as well. Hard to see in this photo
but they were very pretty and glistened!

We took lanterns and sprayed them with
cans of snow.
We purchased artificial snow to pile on
the tables and added to the roses.
Used real roses and branches and berries

Old suitcase purchased at a thrift store for cards

Wedding wands we made to wave at send off
for the Bride and Groom

Cheap silver trays with added artificial snow

Ordered cups with the sleeves on line and then bought a
stamp stencil at craft store to put on the sleeve

Made lots of signs and put them around in silver frames
Bought lots of glass candy jars from craft stores and thrift stores
and bought candy and filled them for the table

Made wedding cookies and dusted with powdered sugar!
Picked out own branches and added to back of table.

A friend who previously worked at a Bakery made the cake!
My sister happened to have the silver cake stand which she
purchased at a thrift store some years ago (for a
really good price!)
Fresh flowers added to the cake for decoration.

Table set up outside for cocktail hour
